Where should I eat?
Apizza Regionale – Great wood fired pizza place. The potato pizza is a favorite of mine
Eden – farm to table focused restaurant where everything is cooked over an open fire. I’d recommend every single thing on the menu
Noble Cellar – New, higher end dining. Features cheese from the Curd Nerd on their menu
Mothers Cupboard – real Syracuse staple, cash only diner. Do not get the full frittata, you’ll never finish it!!
Heids – Can’t talk about Syracuse without Heids Hotdogs
Sweet on Chocolate – get a frozen hot chocolate & some of the dark chocolate potato chips
Kitty Hoynes – a classic Irish pub, can’t go wrong. Get the Irish Coffee
Where should I drink?
Nobody’s – lovely wine bar downtown with a great rotating menu, plus they have cheeseboards from The Curd Nerd!
Tallman Cocktail Club – Rotating cocktail menu and always really well thought out mocktails
Fish Fryer – One of my favorites apps and drinks locations
Any site seeing not to miss? Cool shops?
Wildflowers – an artisan venue with a great vibe and full of local artists
Found Things – right next to the shop, the coolest plant shop ever
Green Lakes State Park – One of the only meromictic lake, it has a lake under a lake basically! The surface water and the undercurrent do not mix. It’s beautiful and amazing
